NEW SERVICE TO ASSIST YOUR STAFFING EFFORTS

Tuesday, February 14th, 2012

We have recently launched our STAFFING CONSULTING PRACTICE to augment our successful recruiting business.

To differentiate us versus other consultants, we have retained several leading investigative experts including Dr. Jerrold Post http://www.sillsarasota.org/bio_Post.htm who created the political personality profile division at the CIA. He is available to evaluate your corporate executives, including providing psychological testing and one-on-one assessments, to predict who will be most successful given your constraints and goals.

Our three primary areas of consulting focus are:
1) BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS: Please go to http://www.strategicsearch.com/accucheck.php for more details on our trademarked investigation process.
2) RECRUITING TRAINING. The main goals are: a) reducing hiring errors and b) lowering cost-per-hire. Our instruction will significantly improve your managers’ abilities to: a) secure more information during interviews b) develop standardized recruiting practices and c) adopt state-of-the-art recruiting methods.
3) STRATEGIC TALENT ASSESSMENT. The main objective is providing you independent and expert talent evaluations for: a) potential hires b) candidates for promotion or c) those to retain or discharge during a downturn or acquisition.

Please let me know if you or any of your colleagues needs any further information on our new practice.

Employers Starting To Hire Again: 243,000 Jobs Added: KEYWORDS THE BASIS OF BEING FOUND BY RECRUITERS!

Friday, February 3rd, 2012

Employers created 243,000 jobs last month. Those additions were across the board including: a) Professional & Business Services, which added 70,000 b) Leisure & Hospitality added 44,000 (on top of the 24,000 added the month before) c) Health Care, which continues to add jobs and rose by 31,000 d) Retail, which has added 390,000 jobs since a low in December, 2009 e) Manufacturing, which added 50,000 (on top of the 23,000 added the month before) f) Mining, which added 10,000 and g) Construction, which added 21,000 jobs (on top of the 31,000 added the month before). Unfortunately, with all this activity not all job seekers are well prepared!

As leader of the largest SEO (Search Engine Optimization) group in the Chicago area with over 500 members, I am on the forefront of applying SEO to job-hunting. My research shows that employers are increasingly selecting specific keywords when searching for talent. As a result, it is imperative for candidates to: 1) thoroughly research what keywords their target audience requires (not ones they feel are appropriate) and 2) seed their resumes and online offerings (e.g. blog postings) with those appropriate keywords. This will lead to increased likelihood of being discovered by desired employers and in turn being hired! To learn more, I invite you as my guest to a special symposium I am hosting on Tuesday, March 13th starting at 6 p.m. entitled, “Guide To Keyword Research.”
